Take a look at my amazing group exercise participants from the past and present
I helped these brides get their fitness party started
A lot of brides love a blend of fun and fitness. Starting bachelorette parties off with a bang with my bridal boot camps.
It is important to achieve a blend of great music, group exercise circuit classes inside and outside. Between getting the heart rate going, and making the class as fun as possible, these bachelorette parties are great to teach. Making exercise as tough as it is enjoyable all while keeping the bride happy is of the utmost importance.
Themed spin classes keep things interesting
I find studio classes are a fantastic way to exercise rather than constant solo training. Not only for motivation, but to feel the sense of being part of a team. Regular weekly cardio is important for overall health and wellness.
I enjoy giving class variety to keep things interesting. Adding in themes and preparing marathon challenges, allows members to feel that extra sense of accomplishment. Examples including halloween, Christmas, summer, easter dress up 2 hour spin classes.
Warming up thousands for the comic relief sports fundraiser
A group of us, friends and fitness instructors were given the great opportunity of helping out at the sport Comic Relief fundraiser.
Using a couple of tracks from Les Mills Body Attack, we warmed up a crowd consisting of a couple of thousand people. This was to prepare them for the sport relief mile.
This was so rewarding, getting a great crowd pumped and ready to go, while raising lots of money for a worthy cause.
I helped combine fun and fitness while getting the work done
Families that train together, remain together
Name: Genevieve and Michael Lamonaca
Fitness Goal: Return to training after the baby girl was born
Techniques Used: Weight lifting, superset conditioning
Results: Both back into shape, and have worked on a solid, family/workout balance
Summary: After the birth of their baby girl, both Michael and Genevieve needed to work on a new routine. They desired to get back into training and found that incorporating it together alongside baby Gia, they quickly got back into shape. Couples that train together and share a common goals, definitely helps one another to remain on track.
